Our commitment
Ashburn Pole Buildings wants everyone to be able to explore what we build, plan a project, and reach us, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We treat accessibility as part of doing honest work, and we improve the site as we go.
Conformance status
We're working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible. This is a good-faith statement of our current efforts, not a claim of full conformance. On October 8, 2026 we tested every page on desktop and mobile with automated WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA checks (axe-core) and by keyboard, and fixed every issue those checks found. Automated tools can't catch everything, so we keep testing and will update this statement as we do.
What we've done
Steps already built into the site include:
- Clear, consistent heading structure and meaningful page titles;
- Visible keyboard focus indicators, so you can navigate without a mouse;
- Support for reduced motion: animations ease off when your device requests it;
- A “skip to main content” link at the top of every page;
- Text colors checked against their backgrounds to meet the AA contrast minimum;
- Descriptive labels on interactive controls and text alternatives for meaningful images;
- A responsive layout that adapts to phones, tablets, and desktops, and to zoom.
Known limitations
We're honest about where we're still improving. As of October 2026, we're aware of the following, and we're working on them:
- The Barn Builder (3D design tool). This interactive, 3D planning tool can be difficult to use with some assistive technologies. If it's a barrier for you, you don't need it to get a building or a price. Call or text us and we'll walk you through the same choices and prepare your quote directly.
- Screen-reader testing. Our checks so far are automated WCAG tests and keyboard testing. A full pass with screen readers such as VoiceOver and NVDA is next, and we'll update this statement with what it finds.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with recent versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on desktop and mobile, and with the assistive technologies built into those platforms.

Ongoing work
Accessibility isn't a one-time task. We review the site as we add pages and features, and we update this statement as we make improvements. The date at the top reflects our most recent review.
